The Salomon Shelter Waterproof Hiking Boot is a city shoe for the winter. It offers a clean aesthetic and waterproof performance for wet days. It’s constructed with a supple, breathable softshell material and Salomon’s ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof bootie that ensures complete weather protection. Energy Cell EVA Foam in the midsole provides shock absorption, while the OrthoLite® Die-cut Sock Liner provides more cushioning and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the Shelter boasts an insulated faux fur and textile lining for extra warmth during winter. Climatherm™ Insulation, made from polyester and EVA, also optimizes insulation around the mid-foot and toe areas of the shoe. The outsole uses Salomon’s Winter Contagrip® compound that maintains adhesion even in freezing temperatures. The outsole also features advancedCHASSIS™ construction, which provides strong lateral support and an additional shank to add torsional rigidity and stability. Items must be in new condition and have the original tags attached. We recommend using a carrier that offers a tracking number, like USPS priority, or FedEx.
We will refund the purchase price of the item to the credit card originally used for the order.
For exchanges, the easiest, fastest way is to purchase the item you'd rather have and return the other item for a refund. This also ensures that we won't sell out of the item you want. You can also fill out the exchange form on your order and ship it back to be switched when we receive it.

What is Standard shipping?
Mostly UPS Ground. Depending on location it may also be FedEx, DHL, USPS, or other regional carriers. Most packages are delivered within 1-3 business days, and all packages have tracking.
When will my order ship?
Most orders placed before 2:00 PM EST ship same-day, Monday-Friday. Due to address or credit card inconsistencies, some orders may take longer to ship.
When will it get here?
Ground can take up to 7 days, though they're usually faster. The closer you are to the East Coast, the faster it will get to you.
