The Ride Smokescreen Snowboard is a Tapered Directional Board with a Standard Camber design. It’s designed for groomers, the t-park, and even powder. It has a medium level of flex and response, ideal for beginner and intermediate riders. Let’s talk tech– the Elliptical Progressive Sidecut uses a tight sidecut at the tip and tail to enhance turn initiation and response and a large radius sidecut between your feet for high-speed stability. AKA, the best of both worlds. Under the hood, the Smokescreen boasts Ride’s Performance™ Core made of high-strength aspen and lightweight bamboo and paulownia. You’ll find Ride’s exclusive Slimewalls® wrapped around the board, which provide a forgiving ride feel and are virtually indestructible. The interior construction features Double Impact Plates for absorbing shocks and vibration, Hybrid Glass (triax on top and biax on bottom) for even torsional flex and responsiveness, and Carbon Array 3 Laminates in the binding zone to enhance board control. All of this is finished off with Ride’s Roll-In Construction, a unique 3D structure around the sidewalls designed to increase the board's strength and prevent chipping.
