How we write and test our guides

  • Guides credited to our Boot Fitting, Gear Testing, and Ski Experts teams are written by Peter Glenn staff with hands-on experience in the topic.
  • We test gear two ways: side-by-side comparisons on the shop floor, and on-mountain testing during demo trips every season. Brands we test include Obermeyer, Spyder, Helly Hansen, Atomic, Burton, 686, and Rossignol.
  • Brands never pay for placement. Our recommendations are based on our own testing and our experience fitting and outfitting skiers.
  • Spot an error? Email help@peterglenn.com and we will fix it.

Return Policy

Items must be in new condition and have the original tags attached. We recommend using a carrier that offers a tracking number, like USPS priority, or FedEx.

We will refund the purchase price of the item to the credit card originally used for the order.

For exchanges, the easiest, fastest way is to purchase the item you'd rather have and return the other item for a refund. This also ensures that we won't sell out of the item you want. You can also fill out the exchange form on your order and ship it back to be switched when we receive it.

Please see our FAQ Page for more information.

Most orders placed before 2:00 PM EST ship same-day, Monday-Friday. Due to address or credit card inconsistencies, some orders may take longer to ship.
