The Burton Counterbalance Camber Wide Snowboard is a quiver-killing blend of freeriding and float. It is a gender neutral board features a Directional Camber design. The directional shape features an 8mm taper, perfect for all-mountain freeriding and powder. Personality-wise (aka flex), the Counterbalance Camber is about the middle of the road, and Burton describes it as “medium-aggressive.” It features Burton’s Super Fly™ II 700G core, which feels poppy, strong, and very lightweight. The deck features Dualzone™ EDG™ design that positions extra wood along the toe and heel edges to increase response and strength and the Frostbite Edges extend outward beneath the bindings for tremendous edge hold. Burton’s Squeezebox tech improves the Counterbalance’s ride experience by positioning soft flexing core sections underfoot for maneuverability and stiffer sections outside the binding areas for increased stability. It has a Sintered Base that glides well in all snow conditions and is very durable. The fiberglass construction uses Super Sap® Epoxy and features 45-degree carbon highlights. The Counterbalance features Burton’s Channel™ binding mounting system.
