Rocker/Camber Hybrid: Uses rocker in certain zones of the ski, typically the tip, tail, or both. Great, versatile choice, offering good grip on hardpack, some float in soft snow, and easy turn initiation and transitions. |
80-89: Versatile; good blend of carve and float |
Enjoy every inch of the mountain with the confidence that only Swiss quality can bring when you’re on the Stöckli Montero AR Skis. They’re designed to be easy to handle, with a tapered shape and Rocker in the Tip and Tail helping to engage the Solid Metal EdgeLight earlier in your turn. Add in the Adaptive Contact Length shaping and you get a ski that’ll give you smooth and effortless control early in your turns, but still dig deep when carving hard. That versatility is in part thanks to the Flex Torsion Control System carved into the titanal laminate reinforcing the Light Core. With wave-shaped channels cut into it, the metal is able to provide a smoother and more precise ride while still allowing for desirable flex in the tip and tail.
KEY FEATURES- Rocker in the Tip and Tail Makes the ski turn easier, float better, and handle quicker when transferring edge-to-edge
- Wave-shaped channels cut into the Titanal reinforcement is part of the Flex Torsion Control system that gives the front and back of the ski improved control and simplifies turn initiation
- Adaptive Contact Length shaping allows you to engage more edge the more you lean the ski over, resulting in easy control and powerful hold for carves
