Salomon X Max 100 Ski Boot (Men's)

Salomon X Max 100 Ski Boot (Men's) -

Product Details

Style: 325875

If you have trouble getting a good fit from ski boots, the Salomon X Max 100 Ski Boots might just be your solution. These have Salomon's Custom Shell Technology, which actually molds to your feet when heated up. Instead of shaving, pounding, and generally tearing up your ski boots, you can just have them heated and the entire lower boot will form to your foot. The Salomon X Max 100 is an aggressive boot, so the last width is narrow and the flex is stiff. This ski boot is for advanced skiers that are looking for great performance and a custom fit.

  • Flex: 100
  • Last Width: 98mm out of the box

Q:
"I would be ordering from overseas where there is no Salomon dealer. So, when the boot's description states that the mould fitting "should be done by boot tech at a Salomon dealer" does that mean specialist equipment is required or can it be done at home?"

A:
"You would want to call your local store to see if they can fit you to this boot. It absolutely cannot be done at home. A shop will need to fit you with a ski boot heater."

A:
"We do not have these boots in that store. You would need to order them online and then take them into the store. No appointment necessary. You should call the store before going in to get an estimated amount of time. "

Q:
"Do these need to be heat-fitted before skiing with them, or can they be fitted at any time later, after spending some time on the piste with them, when I know better where the painful spots are? I plan a week of heavy skiing in Austria, would you advise me to heat-fit them before this or afterwards? Thank you."
