The North Face Apex Bionic Softshell Jacket for women is a cozy softshell that adds a windproof element to any winter ensemble. This jacket is great to wear in the spring and fall on its own, and it's a sleek, breathable layer to add to a shell in the winter. The stretchy shell fabric has a wind permeability rating of 0 CFM, so you know that you're in good hands. Fleece backing on the inside of the softshell adds warmth and wicks moisture away so you stay dry.

"This jacket is more for the spring or summer which would be perfect for golfing. In the winter, use a good thermal top which will definitely keep you warm and wick away any moisture from being active. I think there will be a comfortable amount of room for a golf swing!"

"They are both very similar. They are softshell jackets that are wind resistant. This jacket has the internal stretch cuffs that fit around your wrists to keep out cold air and the Ruby Raschell does not. The inner fleece on the Ruby Raschell is a bit softer than this jacket. It is a high loft fleece so it is fluffier and has more body to it."

"This jacket is not waterproof at all. Water might bead up on it slightly, but it is not made to keep you protected from wet elements. It would be fantastic as a mid layer underneath a Shell jacket."

"The sleeves on this jacket are not adjustable at all. There is an inner stretch cuff to help keep out the cold air, but it's not adjustable. If it helps, the sleeve length is approx 20" (inseam)."

"When in doubt on your size, we do suggest to size up. If the size chart suggests that you are at the end of the small, then you may want to go ahead and size up for comfort. This jacket is very breathable (so will wick away your body vapors, leaving you dry) yet it is windproof so will keep you nice and warm. Perfect for trail running in winter."

"They are both shell jackets (with no insulation) however the Apex may be warmer than the Osito Fleece as the Apex is windproof so it will keep the cold air from blowing through. "

"There's really not much difference. The other model is the Summer 2014 model and this is the Winter 2014 model. They are made of the same materials and both have the fleece backing inside."
