"Is this a warm jacket, what would one need to wear under it to keep warm in zero degree weather?
are there warmer shells then this one?"

"This jacket is fully seam-sealed so it will keep out water but it is a shell only. It does not provide any warmth alone. You would need an insulated mid layer and a thermal next to skin layer in order to provide enough warmth. If you do get cold easily, I would suggest an insulated jacket such as the Volkl Yellow 660 Insulated Ski Jacket or the Volkl Silver Stone Insulated Ski Jacket!"
