Just like your jacket, the Union Strata Snowboard Binding is all about layers. Starting from the bottom there's a Fused Vaporlie Bushing, backed by Thermoformed EVA it's there to smooth out your ride by eliminating any chatter coming up to you from the snow. That's also why they use a Minidisk, scaled smaller than a traditional mounting disk it allows your board to flex more freely, unlocking the full potential of your board. But it's still easy to push your power down to the ground, through the Stage 6 Baseplate made with Duraflex ST that uses extra fiberglass in the nylon to give you extra power.
