"These are water resistant for street wear. I wouldn't recommend them to be used on snow or slush."

"Everyone has a different fit and feel for boots. If a 9 fit you best, even though its not your typical size, I would go with the 9. If it felt big, then size down."

"When I bought them I was told I could wear them in the snow, and one of your review answers says not to.....could I use waterproofing spray and wear them in the snow? I don't live up north but I visit one or two weeks a year"

"These boots are water resistant and they will withstand water splashes and puddles or the walk on the snow to your car but they are not waterproof so it is not a good idea to expose them to snow and slush for a long time. The spray will revamp the water resistance when it wears out but there is no need to spray too often. Once a season should be enough. "
