Q:
"I noticed last years jacket wasn't insulated and all, so how much insulation is the 40g add, like is this jacket warm enough for just a t shirt and maybe thermals underneath it on mid winter days? "

A:
"Well it depends! cold is different for everyone. If you are active and your body heat rises quickly 40 grams will be plenty. Pair it with a mid and base layer, if you get too hot remove the mid layer. Layering allows you to adjust to changes in temperature during the day/night."

Q:
"I am allergic to polyester so I hope the jacket is nylon, rayon or wool which I will purchase the jacket as it has been so difficult to find a winter jacket without polyester "

Question by Dennis on 1/12/2013 - 12:26 pm
A:
"The insulation in the jacket is made from polyester so I don't think this would be a good choice for you. Maybe try looking for something with a down insulation or just get a shell jacket and layer with wool pieces."

Q:
"If my husband's chest measurement is about 36", will the M size jacket be too baggy/big? "

Question by Van on 7/5/2014 - 10:32 am
A:
"Does he normally wear a size medium in jackets? If he normally wears a size medium then he might be able to get away with it. But if he is usually in between sizes (sometimes he's a small, sometimes he's a medium) then I would say that the medium here is going to be too big as this brand can tend to fit a little larger and according to the size chart that we have provided, he would need a size small."
