While other boards focus on giving you less in an effort to save weight, the Never Summer Proto Slinger Snowboard gives you more. It gives you more power from the Shockwave Rocker Camber Profile, which features increased amounts of traditional camber, and reinforces that with a Carbon VXR Laminate. The result is more pop, more control, and more precision whether you’re lining up on a rail or charging into the big line at the terrain park. Helping control all that power is an FDS Samping System running just inside the Full Wrap Metal Edge, smoothing vibration and making the board more predictable even after a heavy landing.

• Extended sections of traditional camber run from underneath your feet out to the tip and tail, giving this board improved edge hold and pop, perfect for precise control and added air
• Twin Shape rides more predictably switch making 180s, and 540s, a bit less scary
• Extended Transition Areas at either end move the board gradually from camber up to the kick at the tip and tail, allowing for full-edge engagement on the snow for improved hold and control
• Low Profile Nose and Tail increases the board’s surface area on soft snow, enhancing float while reducing drag on hard snow
• Power Grip Sidecut is a variable-radius design that helps the board track straight when riding flat on the base, and engages the edges earlier in the turn for improved initiation performance
• NS SuperLight Wood Core uses a blend of woods to achieve reduced weight with unreduced performance
• Co-Extruded Polymer Topsheet is a snow-shedding design that also makes the board stronger and resistant to damage
• Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers ride just below the binding inserts, providing vibration reduction and helping to absorb the impact of heavy landings
• Custom-woven Bi-Lite Fiberglass provides tuned flex and response
• FDS Damping System uses a thin strip of rubber riding just inside the edges, absorbing vibration from rough conditions while still delivering a snappy response and lighter overall construction
