That's because it has a GORE-TEX® insert that is not only extremely waterproof and windproof but also very breathable so moisture can move away from your skin for greater comfort in any weather. The high loft insulation traps in heat, but when things get really cold the included fleece glove liners bring even more warmth. Best of all, those glove liners are touchscreen compatible, so you won't have to answer the phone barehanded while on the top of the mountain.
