The hood is helmet compatible, and because Arc'Teryx thought of every detail, even the front zipper has a storm flap to keep the flakes off your inner layers. 750-fill European gray goose down insulation keeps your core warm, while the lighter insulation on the sleeves of the Andessa gives you a full range of motion for everything from dropping cliffs to backcountry traversing.
